I have always loved movies and been fascinated by the movie industry. To date the majority of my filmmaking has been in short form projects but I am aiming to use the move to Norway to make the transition to working on narrative film and TV.

I have the skill and experience needed so that when film and TV projects are crewing up in Western Norway I should be firmly on the list of potential hires.

Webby award winning BBC Ideas short that I was cinematographer on.

I have experience working as a freelance camera operator on a BBC documentary, as well as a series of livestreaming and concert gigs including filming My Chemical Romance and Scotland’s former first minister at the COP26 Climate conference in Glasgow. My experience on larger sets is as an extra on Netflix productions The Crown, Outlaw King and History of a Scandal. Watching the teamwork and problem solving going on around me, and the application of the principles I have spent years developing made me certain that my skills and instincts could be of use in the world of filmmaking.

I am most qualified for roles in the Camera, Grip and Electric departments. Beyond that I am happy to work as necessary. I speak Norwegian at the B1 / B2 level and have a car and a Norwegian driver’s license. If you are a foreign production looking for native English speaking runners with local knowledge I would love to work with you.

Fundraising video telling the story of a scholarship recipient. I was director and cinematographer on this project.

On smaller scale projects I have worked as a DP on various 2 or 3 person crew documentary projects. I have equipment to light a three point interview with a powerful key (Aputure 300d) and cameras capturing a beautiful image (Blackmagic Pocket Cinema 6k/6k pro). I am available to work as a freelance owner operator.
